Fergie is the matriarch of our
Mastiff family. She is our first Mastiff, but not our last. Fergie stole our hearts from
the minute we began the trip home with her, and she initiated our love affair with
Mastiffs. She has produced two litters of puppies, one by CH Caledonia Pinehollow's
Jackson and one by CH Creekview's Major Montgomery. We kept one of her daughters out of
each litter. You can see some of these puppies on our puppy pages. Fergie is
retired from both showing and breeding. She occupies our couch and gives
orders to the rest of our "herd". She is the Queen and will remain so as
long as we are lucky enough to have her with us.

No one told me that sometime in my
lifetime I was going to have to take care of a total of 20 miserable, hungry
brats! On top of that, Jackie made me a grandma!!! I survived, but
believe me, they better ask for my opinion if they are thinking about ever doing something
like this to me again!

This is one of my
favorite spots for watching and directing the activity in our back yard. We finally
have those Yorkies on the other side of the fence whipped into shape! |
